About Summit
General Information
The Moscow International Chemical Summit, the most established industry conference in Russia, is organised by:
Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs,
Russian Petrochemical and Refining Association,
The operator of the event is the RCC Group consulting and publishing company.

Every year the International Chemical Summit is attended by over 300 leaders from the Russian chemical sector and allied industries. Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov is the honorary chairman of the summit’s organising committee. Tatarstan’s leader Rustam Minnikhanov is a member of the committee. The forum provides invaluable networking, information-sharing and business development opportunities for its Russian and foreign participants.
Role of chemical industry
The chemical and petrochemical industry accounts for some 10% of the Russian gross national product. More advanced feedstock conversion is the main factor behind the transition to a knowledge-intensive economy. Growth in output in the chemical and petrochemical industry has a synergetic effect on the consumer markets.
